a favorite restaurant in Ahmednagar: this thali is traditional of Rajasthan, a state in northwest India. ‘Thali’ means ‘plate’, and it is a meal made of various dishes, each served in the small bowls or simply put on the bigger plate, with breads (roti, chapatti, bakhri) placed in the center. The waiters continually serve you, and because you want to try everything, it is quite easy to fill up fast! It is a delicious restaurant, and kind to your wallet – only Rs 300 for dinner (4 bucks)!

Dyaneshwari and her sister, who I frequently see on my evening walks to the lake; sometimes we play on the gymnastics bars (a liberal term for the metal structure), but mostly they like my iPhone camera
